A vision of a “residential park,” an enchanting spot to enjoy life and raise a family, Fircrest was established as Regents Park in 1907. The town’s curved and aesthetically designed streets and sidewalks provided serene living with a strong sense of community. Fircrest Golf Club was incorporated into the community in 1923; the community of Regents Park incorporated and became the town of Fircrest in 1925. In the over 100 years since the founders developed Fircrest, these values have taken root in the town of 6,000 residents. Centrally located west of Tacoma and east of University Place, the residents of the enclave enjoy a small-town setting with the amenities of the city right next door.
